Seamore is a fab new alternative to pasta that is low carbs and calories but still tastes great!
It's no secret that I'm a carboholic - crisps and pasta are my weakness! so when I heard about Seamore Tagliatelle I just had to try it!
Seamore was an idea thought up when the creator mistook seaweed for pasta in a dish on holiday and now they want to share this delicious, healthy discovery with you. Seamore Taglietelle is a dried seaweed that looks like pasta and can be used in place of pasta but instead of being loaded with carbs and calories, it's packed full of veggie goodness and antioxidants!
It can be used in more than just pasta dishes though, you can use it cold in salads or even desserts!
It more than quadruples in size when cooked - 100g dried makes 500g ready to use Seamore (enough for 5 servings). Seamore is easy to use, simply soak in hot water for 20 minutes then drain and add to your dish or you can cook for longer for more tenderness, plus you use the leftover water as a stock for other dishes.
The smell is reminiscent of holidays in France and playing in the rock pools.
Seamore is organic, sustainable dried Himanthalia seaweed picked in Ireland.
I find Seamore on it's own a bit too fishy for my taste but it's nice teamed with half pasta half Seamore with a nice sauce. They have a fab range of more Seamore products like Seamore bacon and lots more!
You can buy Seamore and see the full product range here.
Until next time....
