What's in the January Box?
1 x Ten Acre Cheddar and Onion Crisps - These are a big pack and they taste great, super crunchy and super flavoursome.
2 x Chia seed samples - I've been adding these to my protein shakes.
1x Maretti Italian Style Bruschetta Bites - Slow Roasted Garlic Flavour - I had to give these away as I can't eat garlic but I imagine they would be lovely with Philadelphia cheese.
1 x Fuel 10k Protieoats Golden Syrup
2 x Nothing But Grape & Pineapple Freeze Dried Snacks - I was pleasantly surprised by these , delicious tasting and low calories! I could easily swap chocolate for these.
2 x Nothing But Freeze Dried Pea & Sweetcorn Snack - these are okay but not for me. A little too earthy tasting for my liking.
1 x Yushoi Snapea Rice Snacks Soy & Balsamic Vinegar - Again these are not for me, I'm not a fan of vinegar flavours.
1x Willy Chases (made me laugh too!) Fit Popcorn Apple Cider Vinegar
1 x The Berry Company Acai Berry Drink - this tastes amazing! The taste of it reminds me of Ribena
1 x Green Lady Sparkling Tea - this is a refreshing sparkling tea drink.
1 x voucher for a free drink
Information booklet with info about products.
I think what would make the leaflet better is if the RRP's of the products in the box were on the leaflet too so you could see how much you are saving.
It's time for this week's Bargain Beauty Buys!
Let's start with the latest beauty must have - the beauty blender. You can get your hands on a 2 pack of these for only £1.50 from Primark, what a bargain! It's the first time I've used one but I really pleased with the results and they don't come apart like when you use cosmetic sponges.
I'm not usually a Primark fan but lately I've been really impressed! They have a huge selection of different makeup brushes between £1-£2 and I've picked up some lovely clothes in the sale.
If you’re like me and your drawers are over flowing with wires and plug from curling tongs and wands in a multitude of different sized barrels, you need this!
Hands up everyone whose new year’s resolution was to get healthier and fitter? Yep, me too. Sticking to healthy eating and living whilst on a budget can be tough though, but today I’m going to share with you some of my top tips for healthy living without emptying the bank.
My Voucher Codes is a website where you can find voucher codes for some of the biggest brands to help with your healthy lifestyle. They have created this super helpful video with tips on how to stay healthy on a budget.
The full article can be found here and is well worth a read!
I’ve also added some of my own tips & tricks I’ve picked up to save you money:
Eek, the little squeal that came out of my mouth when these little beauties arrived through the letterbox! I’ve only recently started wearing false eyelashes again; to be honest I’d forgotten how much I loved them and just how much they make eyes pop! Threads isn’t a brand of eyelashes I had come across before so I was excited to try these Vava Voom Lashes by them.
It's January and there's still a long way to go until pay day but you can still enjoy a new outfit for under £10!
1. Everyday Casual
2. The Wrap Front Dress
3. Distressed Jeans & Jumper
4. The Roll Neck Jumper & Suede Boots
Have You Joined The Wireless Revolution Yet? August International Bluetooth Wireless Headphones Review
I'm sure we've all been there, tied up in strings as you work out to your favourite tracks, worrying about your phone slipping out of your pocket or that awful crunch as you go to change track and it slips through your fingers but fear no more, the wireless revolution is here!
We’ve all seen the adverts on TV for new wireless headphones and if you're anything like me you probably thought what a new gimmick but but boy oh boy was I wrong! After my Sony earbud headphones sadly came to the end of their life (they fell out and I may have accidentally stood on them but shh...) I found myself searching for a new pair and came across an advert for the August International (EP636R) Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Headphones in my favourite shade – red, at a great price too so that was it, decision made and what a brilliant decision it was - these headphones are AMAZING!
No longer are you tied down by strings with the constant worry or hassle of pulling your phone out of your pocket to change tracks, oh no, with these bad boys you are free to move, run, walk, punch, box, kick or just do the housework without getting caught up in wires.
January is well known for being a month that's tough on the old purse-strings but TopCashback is here to help save you money!
TopCashback is a cashback website that allows you to shop at your favourite retailers and earn cashback on your buys and grocery shops. Even better, this week's new member deal is £20 cashback on a £20+ send at Asda! How amazing is that - Free groceries?! You can sign up to TopCashback here or read the full review here - I would definitely recommend signing up, I've earned so much money back on products and groceries I've bought.
Hope you enjoy!
I was very excited to arrive home and find this gorgeous little box of joy waiting for me, the January Birchbox!
This month's box is all about sprinkling happiness and comes in this lovely little pull out box which comes in really handy as storage (I just purchased lots of new single eyeshadows and this draw is perfect for keeping them in!).
So what's in the Birchbox this month you ask? Well....
Online shopping? Use cashback sites such as Topcashback & Quidco
If you’re doing a spot of online shopping or just doing the grocery shop online go through a cashback site and get some money back on your purchase. When I first heard of these sites I was thinking ‘what’s the catch?’ but there isn’t one, it's free to join then you simply search for your retailer and access their website through the cashback site then earn a percentage of what you pay back.
Even better these sites often have new member deals on where you can even end up in profit after the cashback! My personal favourites are TopCashback and Quidco. I personally prefer TopCashback which you can sign up to here or read the full review for here, however you can try them both and see which you prefer or use them both.
This weeks new member deals are (W/C 06/02):
Free item at Everything 5 pounds - I love this site and you can some of my outfits from there here!
Free Thorntons Continental Chocolates after Cashback
£10 Cashback at Next Flowers
This week's new member deals (W/C 14/02)
